This is a small boat launch, but no side dock. It is perfect for hand-carry boats, kayaks, canoes and paddle boards. There is a minimal ramp, so boats can be launched from a small trailer. This is across Hwy 101 from Ona Beach State Park. Beaver Creek and Ona Beach are both operated by Oregon State Parks as part of Brian Booth State Park. A day use fee is charged. The daily permit is good for parking the entire day at any state park that requires a day-use parking permit. You can leave one day-use fee park and travel to another. The hours are listed as “Day Use Only, 6AM to 10 PM.” The parking lot can fill up on a summer weekend afternoon.

Tell us about the access site, and anything about the launch ramp. Is it steep or shallow? Slime at the bottom, perhaps? A very important element is the depth of the ramp. Most of our water varies in depth and some ramps do not work for the lower levels.

Water Character This can't cover everything. But, if the lake is drained in the winter, put it here. Is there a big stump at low water? Maybe, the weeds grow in to the access area in summer? That sort of information directly affects the decision to use the access point.
