The Corps of Engineers are supposed to put the plug back in on the first of February. It's become an annual ritual to get together on the following weekend to celebrate. We'll meet at the marina in Orchard Point Park at noon for a brief ceremony to appease the rain gods and ask them to please give us enough rainfall to fill Fern Ridge Reservoir. Bring a container of water to give the lake filling a boost. After the ceremony we'll have an opportunity to catch up with our fellow Fern Ridge boaters. Bring lunch.
