-The Bay, Multnomah Channel and Sauvie Island are outstanding for small boats and paddle craft.  The area is known for its wildlife.  Multnomah Channel provides a protected waterway to Portland.  To the North is the city of Saint Helens, the Columbia River and a state park at Sand Island.
