The North Riverside Park has a newer well built and maintained full launch ramp, on the Willamette River.  This is about a mile north of Independence town center. There is good paved parking, rest rooms and there is a service dock for the ramp. Located just North of the village of Peoria, Oregon, this launch ramp gives access to the Willamette River.  It is a paved ramp leading to a side slough. There is no dock to keep your feet dry. The Yaquina River Toledo Paddle Park is located on Bay Road about 2-1/2 miles toward Newport from Toledo.  It is a general day use park as well as a launch location for boats that can be carried out to the dock.  It includes a covered picnic table and a potty.  There is no usage fee.  It is operated by the Port of Toledo with help from the State Marine Board.  Thank you!</description>
