Maybe you thought it just contained big, fancy, expensive boats, but that's not the case. In addition to cruisers like H-28, Meadow Lark, Nereia, Marco Polo (and many more), there's the beautiful daysailer Rozinante, a dory-built double-paddle canoe, the H-14 sailing dinghy and a couple of really nice little tenders, the 8' pram for Nereia and the 11' 6" sailing pram for Marco Polo. There's an appendix with short blurbs about and drawings of several other Herreshoff boats, large and small.
The articles in the main part of the book give you all you need to build a boat -- if your eyesight is good enough or you have a good enough magnifying glass. <g> The copy in the Coots' library is the original, landscape format hardback edition.
